Finding the card verification number

Close this Window to return to the Order form What is the Credit Card Verification (CVV/CVC) Number? The credit card verification code is a security feature for "card not present" transactions, e.g., Internet transactions. This code consists of a three- or four-digit nmber which provides a cryptographic check of the information embossed on the card. The code is separate from the card number. The code indicates that the customer placing the order actually has the credit/debit card at hand and that the card account is legitimate. The back panel of most Visa/MasterCard cards contains the full 16-digit account number, followed by the CVV/CVC code. Some banks only show the last four digits of the account number followed by the code. | ||||||||||
